AD-gut annual meeting 2018 in Mainz and Workshop on Microbiome

Our 2018 Annual Meeting successfully took place in Mainz, Germany from October 11th to 12th 2018! Next meeting in 2019 in Lund!

Our AD-gut Annual Meeting 2018 successfully took place at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz from October 11th to 12th 2018. A Workshop focused on Microbiome followed our Annual Meeting on the second day, on October 12th 2018 with the participation of the following speakers:

– Dr. Kristina Endres from Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (UM JGU), DRZ, Mainz, Germany, talk entitled “Little steps into an exciting “new” world: Alzheimer’s disease and the gut microbiome”

– Prof. Dr. Jeroen Raes from RaesLab, VIB, Leuven, Belgium, talk entitled “Quantitative, population-level microbiome monitoring – the Flemish Gut Flora project”

– Dr. Bahtiyar Yilmaz from DBMR, Universität Bern, Switzerland, talk entitled “The clinical determinants shape gut microbial profile in inflammatory bowel disease patients”
